How does this differ from digital video?

Digital video doesn’t quite capture the leaks of light, the stop motion feel, or the natural grain like Super 8mm. In digital videos, you have multiple angles, drone footage, and crystal clear, sharp footage. This is great but doesn’t feel as intimate or as genuine as real film.
