And so, when Jace and Jessica mentioned wanting to take their engagement photos at the beach because Jace is a surfer, I couldn’t be happier. This is how we found ourselves one Fall afternoon at the gem that is El Matador State Beach in Malibu.

We spent the afternoon hanging out in the Arts District of DTLA, keeping the look simple. I love how casual and natural these digital and film photos are, which in my opinion, is exactly what an engagement session should be.

Palm Springs & Sand Dunes Engagement
Lena and Nathan are two of the kindest souls I have ever met and I call myself lucky to now have them in my life. They both work in medicine, and their career pursuits have meant a long distance relationship for a few years. As a result, they don’t get a lot of time together. And so, on one of the rare occasions they do get to be with one another, they invited me along on a full day adventure date.
